Lovely natural white baby huacaya alpaca fiber. The staple length is 3-4". This alpaca fiber is 23-26 microns and it feels so soft and wonderful. Alpaca fiber has a bit of a silky feeling to its softness.

Some people say not to make alpaca sweaters because they will stretch out and lose their shape, but I have an alpaca sweater and I enjoy wearing it, and I don't find that it stretches out too big. I enjoy the drape that the resulting knitted fabric has.
