This is easy-to-spin Pima cotton top. Pima's staple length is very close to Sea Island's staple length as you see pictured, and it has been specially milled to preserve the fiber's natural attributes that make it easy to spin!

You will see in the pictures that I tried to take a measurement of the staple length of each cotton, and there is a photo that compares it with some of the other easy-to-spin cottons I sell.

You do not need to boil handspun cotton yarn to set it, unless you are going to dye it. To set the twist, soak the yarn in hot water with a few drops of detergent for 30 minutes and then hang to dry.

It's natural and undyed. It is a plant fiber and vegan friendly.
