I would consider this yarn more of a lace weight, but the mill is considering it a fingering weight. I suppose it does have some fuzzy substance to it, so it may be a little more fuzzy than your regular lace weight. Note the picture that I took with a single strand over my finger to try to give the idea of a single strand.

This yarn is so great because it is lovely as it is, with its natural wool color and neon neps sprinkled through-out. But, it would also be awesome dyed! Those neps are dye-resistant and will not change color when dyed, so whatever color you might want to dye it, those fun colored neon neps will still be there!
