50% Yak and 50% Mulberry Silk

This is a super soft and silky blend, but there is a big difference in the staple length of the two fibers in this blend. Yak fibers are very short, and the other half of this blend is long stapled Mulberry silk. The combination of 2 very different staple lengths of fibers, and the softness of the yak combined with the silky, length of the Mulberry silk will make you have to slow down and be intentional to spin it. This is not a blend I would pick if you want something easy to spin!

Pulling off a staple length of fibers from this blend and spinning it from the fold, may help you to be able to grab and spin both lengths of fibers in this blend.
