85% naturally colored Blue Faced Leicester Wool with 15 % Tussah Silk blended throughout very well. It is a soft fluffy, silky and strong blend of 85% Blue Faced Leicester Wool and 15% tussah silk combed top.

I love BFL fiber and this natural gray BFL wool is gorgeous as it is, but would dye up beautifully because over-dyeing that natural color will give a depth to the color that you dye it with that you couldn't achieve otherwise. BFL has a different structure to the hair shaft than other wool fibers, so it makes it have a little bit of shine and nice drape. It is soft and the shine and softness of the silk mixed in makes it extra special and BFL/silk blends dye beautifully with both acid and natural dyes.

BFL and silk blends dye up especially beautifully. This blend will dye up really well with both acid and natural dyes.
