I like to knit or crochet from the center of the yarn cake as many people do, and as the yarn is used up, there is more chance of the remaining yarn tangling, but not if you are using a yarn cozy that keep it orderly and pulling out easily till the end!

Each yarn cozy is about 4-4.5" tall and 4-4.5" wide. The fabric is stretch so it will stretch over wider cakes, but the size is small enough that it will hug smaller cakes of yarn as well. I made these for myself, and I made a few extra to sell!
