This wool is a strong turquoise color. My camera tried to make it more of a pure blue, and I think it is more of a strong turquoise blue color, so I tried to edit the pictures to show it as a turquoise blue.
This is 100% carded Corriedale wool. Please note that the staple length is not that long. You can see the staple length of the fiber in the listing pictures. Carded wool is fuzzier in appearance because wool is carded on a large brush drum. There are more shorts fits of fiber in this preparation than there are in combed top preparations which comb all shorter bits of fiber out of the final combed 'top'.
Corriedale wool does wet felt, but not quite as readily as Merino wool does. This is excellent wool for needle felting.
