I'm pleased to offer this fine, natural flax top for sale. It is the finest, softest flax fiber that I have. Previously I thought that the natural flax from Ashford New Zealand was the softest finest flax combed top, but I think that this flax is a little finer and softer. You can see from the pictures that the staple length is about 5-6" in length and this is the amount I like to pull off and spin from the fold.

It spins very easily by just pulling off a little bit where the staple length separates, as you see pictured, and folding that in half to spin from the fold. You can spin it with or without water to wet your fingers, but using a little water, helps make the little hairy fibers lay down and produces a smoother, shinier yarn. It makes a very thin and strong thread with a beautiful, neutral natural color to it.

It's undyed, and is it's natural color. It is vegan friendly.
