Indigo dyeing made easy! No need to mix a large dye vat that takes hours and makes a mess. I hadn't wanted to do a lot of indigo dyeing, until I realized how simply I could do it. You literally just add hot water!

This is a Indigo dye jar refill. You can purchase just the Indigo and chemicals to go in your own jar with fibers you already have, or you can purchase the indigo and chemicals and yarn to put in a jar that you already have. The choice is yours. Either way, you receive instructions and the additives to for 1/2 gallon or 1 gallon jar. You just want the jar/container to seal well, so that when you shake it up, it will not leak, or allow a lot of oxygen to be introduced into the water.

You will receive:

- powdered Indigofera Tinctoria
- dye fixers
- instruction sheet

and a skein of undyed yarn if you want yarn with it.

You can choose from the following yarns:

- Fingering - 100% SW Domestic Merino - 400 yards
- Fingering - 100% Organic U.S. Combed Cotton 4 ply - 350 yards
- Worsted - 100% Peruvian Highland Wool - 220 yards
- Worsted - 100% Superwash Merino - 218 yards
- Bulky - 100% SW Domestic Merino - 120 yards



It is really fun to see the transformation in color when the dyed yarn is exposed to oxygen! It quickly goes from canary yellow to green to deep blue! It really is neat and you better take pictures or video because you won't believe it!
