This is 100% natural gray Polwarth combed top!! This wool averages 23 micron with an average staple length of 4-6". It can be a better option than Merino for beginning spinners looking for next-to-skin softness without the slippery difficulty of other fine fibers.

This blend has purply pink, green and orange tweed neps blended throughout.

I love Polwarth wool because it is soft but hard wearing. I always think it feels like it spins up faster than Merino wool because it has a little longer staple length than Merino wool. If I could only have one sheep wool breed, it would be Polwarth.
