This is sold by the 120 yd, 3.5oz skein. This is undyed Bulky weight 100% Superwash Wool 3 ply thick yarn. I think it is actually a true bulky weight, but customers sometimes are expecting it to be thicker, so I've called it a light bulky weight so that people don't purchase this when what they are actually wanting is a super bulky. This is an average wool yarn, not super soft and not really coarse. The mill says it is Merino wool, but it looks and feels like an average wool yarn.

This is a thin bulky weight yarn. Bulky and chunky yarns are getting extremely thick these days, but this is a size that is the next step above aran or worsted weight. It is thicker than Aran or worsted weight, but not at all super thick like some bulky and chunky yarns are getting these days. So only buy this if you are wanting a yarn that is just a little thicker than an Aran or worsted weight.

The yarn is it's natural, off-white color. The white-ness or off-whiteness can vary between cases of the yarn that I get.

It is 100% Made in the USA from domestically raised sheep. I love that this yarn was raised here in the US, and was milled and spun at a historic mill in Pennsylvania. It's great to support sheep farmers here in the US.

This yarn dyes very nicely with any acid dye or can be used as is. What is more fun than wearing something that you dyed and knit/crocheted yourself!
